Coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, and 50 satang/baht
The Thai baht has been in circulation since 1902. Interestingly, "baht" originally referred to a unit of weight—equivalent to exactly 15 grams.
The reverse side of Thai coins typically features Buddhist symbols, while the obverse displays portraits of the Thai king.
